Muath Omari of Windsor Locks has found a way to increase his college fund. He bought Super Cashword 15 ticket at the Pearl Mini Mart in Enfield, that turned a $5 investment into a win worth $50,000, or $34,151 after taxes.
The UConn biology student was delighted with the win and says he plans to go on to med school, where the money will come in handy.
Pearl Mini Mart will receive a $500 check for selling the winning ticket.
