Which Areas Have Most Lottery Winners?

Some towns seem to get more winners don’t they?

And we’ve all heard of lucky shops which have sold big winning tickets. Wouldn’t you rather buy your ticket there?

But this is actually just a big misconception. We do love to see a trend that isn’t really there.

If you actually take all the data, and look at how winners are spread around for any draw, then you’ll see they don’t favour any particular area. It actually all looks very random indeed.

And the experts do agree too, where the winner comes from really is as random as the numbers that come out of the machine.
