Ask lottery players how often they have hit the jackpot, and most will either say never or not yet.  In contrast, Thomasville resident Linda Huckans has just won her second significant jackpot in a span of just two years.

Huckans had been shopping at a Publix Supermarket recently when she purchased a ticket for the $400,000 Bonanza instant game.  When she scratched her ticket in her car, it showed a $400,000 jackpot so she immediately signed the back of the ticket and headed home.  Her son was ecstatic with the win.

She had first won a significant amount by way of a $250,000 jackpot in 2011, which she used to retire from her then job as office manager for a manufacturing company.

With her latest windfall, she wants to finish home renovations, and set aside portions for her children.
