A 76 year old woman, who only plays the lottery occasionally, and had never won any big amount before, did not know she had a ticket worth $250,000 in her wallet for many months.
Mary Panick could hardly contain her excitement after having three months-old tickets checked at a local grocers, and being told one of them was worth a quarter of a million dollars.
