Blessings take different routes. For a plasterer, it was heeding a request from a workmate to pick up a bottle of water on the way to work that changed his life for the better.
Kevin Campbell dutifully passed by the Village Store to get a bottle of water for his mate. With the change he decided to pick up a £2 Purple Limited Edition instant ticket for himself. He scratched the card as soon as he got to the car. He was so stunned to learn he had won a £250,000 prize that he kept scratching away even if there was nothing more to reveal.
Now Campbell is looking to buy a home of his own. His girlfriend advises him to be cautious and to make it last. But the lucky man is set on buying a house and treating his girlfriend to a holiday.
