The USA is a funny old place.
Where else could you have the city of sin (Las Vegas) in a State that doesn’t allow the lottery (Nevada)..!
There are currently 7 states in the US where you cannot play the lottery. And I don’t mean they don’t have a state lottery – I mean you are not allowed to buy or sell Powerball and Mega Millions tickets either!
But Wyoming now has preliminary approval for the big multi-state lottery games. Which could eventually lead to a Wyoming Lottery too.
So residents of Wyoming, no need to drive south into Colorado to buy your tickets anymore 🙂
(What US states don’t have a lottery? Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, Utah and for a little while longer – Wyoming)

Oh dear – they lost again.
The Wyoming House of Representatives just killed the proposal again. Pretty close though at 33 votes to 27.
That’s three times in six years. Next time Wyoming, next time!
