Ray Krov is a lottery fan. So much so that once when he went over to the Hess Express on Dec. 27 to cash small amounts of winnings, he decided to invest another $10 in five ‘$1,000 a Week For Life’ tickets. It turned out to be a very wise decision as one of those tickets hit the grand prize.
Now Ray can look forward to a much easier life with a stipend of $1,000 every week as long as he lives. It is doubly special as the number Ray chose represents his wife’s birthday. While this win will not make him a millionaire, Ray feels a financial burden lifted off him. He plans to save some up and have a bit of fun with his children.
In the game which saw 12,960,000 tickets distributed in September last year, three tickets are designated to win $1,000 for life, and six will win $10,000 before taxes.
