Scratch-offs Misdelivered

Darryl Buford was  surprised to find a lot of lottery tickets in a UPS box delivered to him with a gift he had bought earlier from Macy’s.  The box contained eight stacks of unopened scratch-off lottery tickets, each stack had 100 to 500 tickets  worth $1 to 20 each.  A whole lot of money, or so thought Darryl, but he still chose to return it immediately because he valued his integrity more.

Apparently, the tickets will have to be activated by a retailer before they are considered valid.  And all the while, the Georgia Lottery has been in contact with UPS to find it.

UPS officials speculate that the box containing the tickets may have been broken, and a worker had mistakenly put them in the  wrong box.
