A Scotch Plains woman won the fist of ten $1 million prizes on the New Jersey Lottery’s $150 Million Cash Spectacular instant game. Sylvia Vasquez uncovered the top prize in one of ten lottery tickets she bought from W’s Freshmart on Route 22 in East Union, last 11 February. She immediately headed to the lottery headquarters to claim her prize.
It was her dream to win big at the lottery, and she is overjoyed now that it has finally come true. She and husband Sergio plan to start educational funds for their children, share some with her parents and maybe buy a house.
Each of the games tickets offer 1 in 4 chances of winning prizes that range from $10 to $1 million. Nine more top prizes remain in play.
