Pfafftown, N.C. is fast gaining a reputation as a lucky town after a man won a million dollars playing the lottery. Todd Adams became the fourth winner in six years to win a large lottery jackpot in the town of only 10,000 residents.
Adams won his prize playing the $4,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular ticket. When he scratched his ticket and saw the prize, he immediately drove to Raleigh to file a claim.He had the option of receiving the full prize amount in twenty yearly installments or a lump sum of $600,00. Adams chose the single payment option and received an amount of $415,206 net of state and federal taxes.
Adams plans to invest his winnings and start a retirement fund.
