The Cash 5 game in Pennsylvania made a man $325,000 richer on the January 08 draw.  The man who has declined to be identified bought the winning ticket at Lavery’s Convenience Store in Waterford Township.

Bill Lavery, owner of the store shares some information about the winner.  He says the winner has been purchasing a few dollars worth of tickets per week for the last 15 to 20 years, and knew he won just the day after the draw.  Since then, the man has shared the news of his good fortune with only his wife.

While most people use birthday and  anniversary dates believing it will give them luck, this particular winner used numbers from jerseys on a team he played with in the past.  It is believed the man will help his two children pay off college loans.
