What more could a young man want for Christmas than a check from the lottery company for a million dollars.
And at just 21, Asif Khan has had his Christmas wish come true. He’s been playing scratch off tickets for a while now, normally just buying the odd $1 and $2 tickets.
But on this occasion he decided to risk a $20 ticket whilst on his way to school. And found himself immediately heading home again to tell his mum the amazing news.
Asif plans to help out family and friends, and also put money towards going to medical school.
