Assembly Panel Approves Lottery Winners Privacy Bill

Good news for lottery winners in the USA as New Jersey moves forward with it’s plan to provide more privacy for new lottery winners.

In a bill, now approved by the Assembly Panel on Monday, winners would be allowed a year of anonymity if they should choose it.

Whilst this falls far short of countries such as the UK which allow for full anonymity, it’s certainly a step in the right direction and allows for some adjustment time for winners before the avalanch of begging letters start arriving.
