Riley Gunn was lucky enough to win $1 Million on the lottery, but couldn’t afford to pay for the gas to drive to the lottery headquarters to claim his prize.
Thankfully a friend stepped in and lent him the money to do the 200 mile journey.
Despite having been laid-off by a telecomms company, Riley risked $16 on lottery tickets. Something he was careful not to share with his wife before discovering the big win.
Now the couple plan to spend some of their $670,000 after tax lump sum on a car each, getting a house, and starting their own business.
