Linda Metzger normally buys a $20 scratch off ticket, but when her husband Larry arrived at the store he discovered they had sold out of her favourite ticket.
Rather than return empty handed he chose a $30 ticket instead, hoping he was doing the right thing.
His wife was thrilled however after scratching away the panels, and declared they had a $3,000 winner.
Larry told her to look closer, which is when the tears began – she’d just won $3 Million!
