Chad Klepaychuk, could have missed out on a $15.8 lottery jackpot if not for his wife.  He really planned to buy entries for the 6/49 lottery draw on 13 April, but had initially changed his mind. 

The cost of entries to the National Lottery will double from its current, £1 to £2 in September.

While the lotto says the change is a result of a survey indicating most players want more chances to win big money, after the change,  jackpots will be bigger but some of the payouts will be even lower than it is now.
