It’s not the usual way police departments get some extra funding, but every little helps.
The $1 Million Lotto prize was originally claimed by a 45 year old woman in Oregon. But it turned out that she had illegally used a credit card belonging to the dead mother of her boyfriend to buy the winning ticket!
So as the proceeds of crime, the police confiscated her winnings.
