Pub Syndicate Bags £1,093,805 Lotto Prize

A pub syndicate composed of seven friends from  Saltburn-by-the-Sea in North Yorkshire almost lost their chance when their ticket was almost forgotten in a plant pot. Luckily, Steve Row, a syndicate member, found the ticket  got it checked at a local shop. That was when they discovered the ticket is a £1 million winner!

Four of the seven members of the winning syndicate were connected to the bar, including the bar landlady and her two daughters and a barmaid. Six members of the lucky group, who now call themselves the “The Queens Syndicate,” turned up to receive the ceremonial check for £1,093,805. The group will share the winnings equally.
