If you checked your tickets online for Washington Lottery’s Veteran’s Raffle – make sure you check them again now!
Unfortunately somebody messed up at lottery HQ and published the wrong winning numbers on their website!
They say they cannot pay out any incorrect claims for winnings, and indeed they have already turned away one poor ‘winner’ who came in with what they thought was a winning ticket. You can only imagine how disappointed they were.
It’s not the first time a lottery company has issued the wrong results, and it has been known in the past for claims to be honoured where the error was the fault of the lottery company themselves.
We think the Washington Lottery should be doing a lot more for anyone who discovers they haven’t won, when they genuinely thought they had.
