A $400 million Mega Millions jackpot has been won.  This time the big prize is going to be shared by two lucky winners.

Lottery officials have revealed that the first winning ticket was sold at a Sunoco convenience store in Florida, while the other was sold in Charles County, Maryland.  Both tickets, sold about a thousand  miles apart, were able to match six numbers 11, 19, 24, 33 and 51, plus the Mega Ball of 7 which came up in Tuesday night’s draw.

Taken as a lump sum, the entire jackpot is worth $224 million – $112 million for each winner.  This would roughly translate to about $74 million for each winner, net of taxes.
