A man from Nanaimo in B.C. has just shattered the record for the biggest online lottery jackpot in Canada. Bill Laharty won a huge $21 million jackpot in the Aug. 13 draw of the Lotto 6/49 game.
The lucky man shared that he still finds it hard to believe how much his luck has changed. His plans for the money include helping family, buying a new condo, a bigger boat and to vacation in exotic locations. In the meantime he has bought two new luxury cars; one for himself and one for a long-time friend.
