A man had such a happy family life that he considered himself extremely fortunate even before bagging a $16.7 million 6/49 lottery win.

With a loving wife, and a close-knit family that includes children and grandchildren, Clifford Britch had everything he needed. Yet he continued his habit of regularly buying lottery tickets. And his investment in a chance at riches finally paid off.

He was shopping at a grocery with his wife when he checked his tickets and thought he had won $16,000. He was so happy he immediately called his wife over. But a clerk at the store corrected him, his win was much bigger. It was for $16.7 million! Still Britch says it’s just icing on the cake as his family is his real treasure.

As for plans on how to spend all that money, there is nothing decided yet. All they know is that it will be shared with the family. And they may also upgrade to business class on a trip to South America they have booked before the win.
