Big Lottery Winners Quietly Donating To Charity

Kirby and Marie Fontaine are not like most big lottery winners.  Instead of living the high life, they have chosen to remain in the same community and spend their money donating to various charities.

At least one charity, the Christmas Cheer Board, says the Fontaines never call, the check just arrives; this year it is for $100,000.  Several other charities including the Winnipeg Harvest and Rossbrook House, a youth drop-in program will also receive bonus checks from the generous couple.

After banking a $50 million Lotto Max jackpot in 2000, it seems like the couple are piling up good deeds.
