One of the most common thoughts to run across the minds of lottery winners is retirement. But for five people who work at the John Hargreaves Paper Mill Operators in Stalybridge, winning about £600,000 each will not keep them from work. They say the workload is heavy at this time, and they love the work.
The group of five, called the Agnati Crew Syndicate, earned their win the hard way; they have been playing the same number combinations for the past ten years in a UK Lotto syndicate. This is the only really significant amount they have ever won.
Now they talk of paying off mortgages, buying new cars and taking family on vacation. In the meantime, all five are back at work.
