The young winner was very happy with the birthday present from her Grandmother this year.
Not only was it the first lottery ticket she had ever bought, owned or been given – it also turned out to be a winner worth $1.25 Million.
She didn’t even realise how much it was worth at first – the lottery terminal simply said it was worth more than $1,000 and she would have to contact head office to claim.
Hopefully that’s one Grandmother who will be getting a thank-you letter this year.
