It took a conversation with a cabbie to convince a Glasgow man to check his lottery tickets. When he did, the man who did not want to be identified found himself a millionaire.
The taxi driver had commented that the winning ticket for an unclaimed £1 million lottery prize had been sold at a Ladbrokes shop the man bought his entry from. That led to the 60-year old man discovering he had won a £1,018,020 jackpot. The man now looks forward to a Caribbean Cruise and a trip to Australia with his wife.
