A £2m win registered by a syndicate composed of eight village co-op workers and two former workers could have decimated the manpower of the store if the winners decided to retire.
As it stands though, all eight consider working at the store akin to being part of a family, and plan to continue working even after each receiving £205,000.
And they plan to continue playing the lottery in the same syndicate, saying “We are greedy for more.”
