Amy and Adam Pryor were struggling to keep up with the medical needs of their seriously ill daughter – and then lady luck came to the rescue.
Their daughter requires frequent trips to a London hospital for treatment. This would have meant that Amy would have to give up her job to better care for the child. Since that will put a big dent on their finances, that would have meant Adam taking as much overtime as he can handle. But then a lucky dip changed all that.
When he received the mail, Adam thought he’d won just £2.70. Then when he logged on, he first thought it was just £1,000. But it was for a full £1 million.
Now the couple are thinking of buying a home where they can comfortably take care of their child. They’re also thinking of buying new cars and a vacuum. But the most important thing is that they can better care for their daughter now. This early, they’re planning to take her to Disney World as soon as she’s old enough.
