Jane Lewis had been playing the same numbers since as far back as she can remember. But one day she just decided to try lucky dips – five of them to be exact. Funny thing is that the lucky dip gave her the big win years of playing her own numbers did not.
Lewis was a bit giggly when she called the lottery offices to confirm her 6-number match. However, she had the prize amount worked out just fine; £4,301,108.
When asked how she treated herself after the win, the retired seamstress said she bought herself a pair of slippers at the M&S.
