Limerick hurling team captain Donal O’Grady was very excited to receive a call from the lottery. He did not win the lottery, but the ticket which won €4 million was sold at O’Grady’s Spar and Topaz where he works as manager.
To hear him tell it, you’d have thought he was the one who won, but the store manager is just excited at the first big jackpot winner sold at his shop. He is hoping the winner is a local, so that people can locate their little town of Ballingarry on the map. So far nobody has come forward to claim the prize and even O’Grady does not really know who won.
