Another syndicate has just gotten lucky playing the EuroMillions Lottery. This time it is a group of seven women from Grantham.
Lynn McKinnon, who has been the EuroMillions syndicate leader for eight years was at home checking email when she saw one from the National Lottery. She initially thought it was a small win until she spotted what she thought were a lot of noughts and hurriedly looked for her glasses. There were six noughts alright! Even her daughter Donna said that she read it right and called the Camelot who then confirmed the syndicate’s ticket had indeed won the Millionaire Maker Draw. They were a million pounds richer! What happened next was a frenzy of calls between her and six other members of the group which prevented Camelot from calling her back till the afternoon.
Each member is set to receive a share of £142,857.14. Already some of them have gone on holidays, so it took sometime before the group, who now call themselves the Lucky Ladies Syndicate, can all come together to celebrate the win. Some are thinking of more travel, houses, and cars. The group bought the lucky ticket online.
