There are a lot of teachers running around at the Simms Cross Primary School in Widnes, Cheshire, with wide smiles on their faces. A syndicate of thirty teachers have just bagged a £1 million lotto win!
Syndicate leader Julie Connaughton waited for confirmation from Camelot before breaking the good news to the rest who initially thought it was just an April Fool’s joke. But after reality set in, the group of 26 women and four men headed straight to the pub to celebrate. One member will finally get married, some will go on vacations and one will pay a deposit on a house.
