The latest draw of the Oz Lottery produced two winners who are set to pocket $25 million each.
The first winners was a wife from North Curl Curl who has prudently chosen to remain anonymous. She only realized she had won big money when she checked her ticket after hearing that a winning ticket had been sold at North Curl Curl. But when she called up her husband to share the good news, her excitement made her unintelligible.
Now she says it is the end of economy flights for them, and they will choose first class moving forward. They are also planning to give to charity.
The second winner, also a woman, and also chose to remain anonymous, had purchased their winning ticket from aNorton Plaza newsagent in Leichhardt.
The woman had joked that if there were two winners, she must be one of them. Turns out she was right to the tune of $25 million.
It must be lucky season for anonymous women in Australia.
