But what is even more inspiring is to hear of big winners sharing their windfalls with the less fortunate in a big way. Again, the anonymous French Euromillions winner from Haute Garonne fits the bill – he has decided to give away €50 million of his €72 million in winnings to charity.
The man has decided to give his winnings to about a dozen national agencies, with only one condition; that he be informed where his money goes.
This follows a recent win by a Canadian man who decided to donate all $40 million to charity because just because he does not need the money.
