Two instant ticket winners from Brooklyn went home with a combined prize money of $17 million. Melodie Donovan won $7 million from a New York Millions scratch-off ticket last June, and Darius Menard won even more, a cool $10 million from a $10,000 a Week for Life instant ticket.
Donovan received $4,361,280 net of all taxes. Because of the win, she now entertains thoughts of retiring a little earlier. As for Menard, he has no plans yet after receiving the prize which came to $5.3 million after taxes.
