48 employees of the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre just got early Christmas presents courtesy of the Lotto Max. That is because winner and syndicate trustee Kevin Vey won a million dollar payout.
The group usually start collecting $7 each whenever the jackpot exceeds $15 million, and anybody can just chip in. This time 48 people did. This means each of them will receive $20,833. Most of the winners plan to use their shares for vacation and holiday festivities, but one wants to start an educational fund for his child.
