Hospital Workers Share $3.6 Million 6/49 Jackpot

rsz_threeA syndicate composed of three long-time friends and co-workers have won half of  $7.2 million Lotto 6/49 draw.  Retiree Mary Grills, and her friends Bev Allaire and Trish Little bought their winning entry from a gas station at Quadra Street and McKenzie Avenue.

Now Allaire and Little are moving upthier retirement from the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, where Grills used to work until 6 years ago.

Married Grills plans to use her share to help family members.  Allaire, who is single will prioritize paying off her mortgage and then will do a lot of traveling.  Widowed Little also has travel in her sights.
