Lotto Winner To Open Yogurt Shop

A lottery winner from New York is investing part of her winnings towards opening a frozen yogurt shop.  Belinda Poblete says she wants to open a Red Mango Yogurt Cafe Smoothie and Juice bar in Nanuet.

Health care worker Poblete was really more of a Powerball player.  But on one of her lottery playing trips to the Super 7 Express on Orange Turnpike last spring, she gave in to a sudden urge to buy a CASH4LIFE instant ticket.  That’s perhaps the best financial decision she has ever made.  Scratching the ticket revealed she had won the top prize worth all of $7 million.  She later opted to take a single lump sum payment of $4.6 million over the full amount paid over time.

Perhaps it is the health care worker in her, or she relates buying the lucky ticket at a store on Orange to fruits being lucky as the reason she plans to open the yogurt store sometime in 2017.  She, however,  says that she wants to share her love of Red Mango with the community and to offer the public something healthy.
