For Alishea Gainer the million dollar lottery winnings seems just like the icing on a big cake. The Kenmore resident has had things coming her way since December when she got engaged, and has also recently completed her master’s degree in mental health counseling.
She was overwhelmed by emotion about the win, and revealed she only ever played the lottery once a month. Apparently that was good enough to land her this latest installment of good fortune.
Alishea took a lumpsum payment of $556,000 and now plans to buy an new house and a car. She also wants to set aside money for her children.
The substitute teacher has no plans to stop working, believing that money does not last forever. Clearly this lady has got her priorities straight, and should not require counseling for herself.
