A  firefighter from Dundee is one of two winners who shared a £3,885,318 jackpot in Saturday night’s UK Lotto draw.  The man who requested to be allowed to remain anonymous has suddenly become £1,942,659 richer after managing to pick all six numbers in the draw.

The man is delighted with the win he plans to claim from the lottery offices soon.  Though his colleagues at the Balmossie Fire Station are already aware of the good fortune that has come his way, he does not want the general public to know.

The fireman joins a list of lucky players from Dundee who have won significant amounts recently, including a teener who won £100,000, and another man who won £1.3 million from a bookmaker with a £2 bet on six horse races.
