The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery usually benefits students; this time though a winner’s generosity made it possible for a children’s hospital to share in the bounty.
When Patti Baker won $200,000 from the Towering 10’s instant win game, she decided to donate $10,000 dollars to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in memory of a late friend and a brother in law. The Ward Mart on Highway 31 earned a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
