They did not know each other when hurricane Sandy hit, but both lost their homes and moved over to Connecticut.  After they met and moved in together, life still was not easy for Mary Ann Daino and Dennis Krauss.  But now that they have won the lottery, they have a chance to buy a new home.

It was she who bought the lucky Quick Pick Five Card Cash Lottery ticket at the Hess station on Route 7, close to the trailer park where they lived.  When she checked it, the ticket had a congratulatory message.  They have won the top prize of $255,555.00.

When they received the after tax prize of $175,000.00, she immediately declared it is to be used to buy their new home.
