Two months after a draw that saw an $11 million jackpot won, Daniel Lindsey has come forward in San Diego to claim the prize. The man had bought his winning ticket for the SuperLotto Plus Aug 10 draw from the Golden Hill Liquor on B Street, near 27th Street.
Apparently, the win was meant for him, as he had only bought $5 worth of quick pick tickets and it was the fifth and last line which matched the numbers 5, 7, 14, 44, 46 and the mega number, 27 drawn.
The lucky man now has a choice of getting paid annually, or receiving a single lump sum payment of $6.3 million. The store which sold the ticket earns a 1/2% bonus for selling the ticket, which works out to a hefty $55,000.
