A self-employed handyman from Fresno has just won a million dollars from the California Lottery’s Deluxe 7’s Playbook game.  Kenneth Tatum bought his winning instant ticket from a Valero gas station at 1105 W. Shields Ave. in central Fresno where he stopped for gas on Sunday.

The winner plans to build his nest egg off his winnings and to establish trusts for his great grandchildren and daughters.  Rather than buy a new vehicle, he just wants to purchase new tires and keep on working.  The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning scratcher.
