Hotel Worker Scratches His Way To Riches

Richard Carr from Doncaster had an itch to buy lottery tickets, so he bought   Merry Millionaire National Lottery scratchcard.  He actually bought the ticket while waiting for public transport at the The Pitstop, Harworth on 28th December.

Carr immediately scratched his card and realized that the first and second panels matched – which meant he had won a million pounds.  He ran back to the shop and excitedly gave the card for the girl at the counter to re-check.

No news yet on how the hotel general assistant plans to use his money, but it sure makes for a good start of the year for him.
