An Aspen man who has been homeless for the last six years now has the lottery to thank for pulling him out of a financial rut. Michael Engfors bought a $10 instant ticket which returned a $500,000 prize.
The man has told a few friends and spent one last night sleeping at the homeless shelter. Now all he can think about is contacting a daughter he has not seen in 20 years and buying a pair of skis. People at the Aspen Homeless Shelter are helping him collect his winnings.
