Michael Santaniello won $1 Million on the lottery back in 2009.
But this week found himself in court admitting his guilt to stealing money from his heating service customers.
Through “Mike’s Oil Heat Service” based in Chelmsford, he was found to have repeatedly charged customer for work that was not done. He would demand payment for expensive repair and replacements, get the victims money and not come back.
All this becomes even less understandable when it turns out Michael chose the annuity option for his win so is still receiving $35,000 a year in his pocket without having to scam customers.
Sentencing should see him spend 18 months in prison.
