Ray Buxton who does not even want his hometown and age released, made his claim at the Sacramento office of the  lottery.  His spokesman revealed that a short time after he bought the ticket at a Milpitas Chevron station that he had won the Feb. 19 draw.  However, Buxton had to take his time planning what he wants to do with the money.

The winner is described as a middle aged professional from the Bay area.  He has since retired, and wishes to remain as anonymous as possible.  He has gone on a vacation, and plans to set up a foundation to combat child hunger and promote pediatric health and education.
