Many people play the lottery without really expecting to win very much. A winner from Northern Kentucky proves that again.
Patricia Pearson won $4 from an old lottery ticket, and used that to buy a few Powerball tickets. What she did not realize was that she had won a million dollar jackpot. She was completely aware she was a millionaire one week after the draw. Fortunately, the manager at the store recognized her from video footage of the ticket purchase and called her condominium complex.
She was so short of money before the win that she almost sold her condo unit. Now she is looks forward to the more comfortable life of a millionaire.
