A lucky man will now have both time and resources to watch more Cubs games – live if he wants to.
Retired Environmental Protection Agency worker Rick Kempke was watching a Cubs game when he scratched a lottery ticket which revealed a $1 million prize. The astounded man later opted to receive the prize as a single payment of $600,000.
Kiempe says he wants to buy a new car and a house with his winnings.
